Are you ready for ‘Mobilegeddon’?
It’s easy to see why Google has taken this step – traffic from people using mobile devices now accounts for more than 50 per cent of all traffic that we see through Google Analytics and some sites receive far more than half of their traffic from mobile web users. It remains Google’s self-imposed job to give people the best possible results relative to who they are, where they are and what they want.
With mobile devices ahead of desktop machines in popularity, the proportion of mobile users accessing websites is rapidly increasing and looks that it will continue to do so. If you haven’t already checked that your site is mobile friendly, now is the time to review your strategy for users of mobile devices.
