Eight Wire supports employability forum
Nice to see the Western Morning News quoting Eight Wire’s Jamie Smith at the Falmouth University employers forum that strengthens links between students and industry.
This year’s annual conference saw a record turnout of leading businesses, students and recent graduates all forge creative links together. As a keen investor the next generation of marketing talent, Eight Wire is keen to support initiatives that give a better interface between educational establishments and industry. As part of this support, we set a business challenge this year for a team of students who were tasked with presenting their proposals for the agency’s business development. The event encouraged networking between businesses and students as part of the university’s employability support services – an attractive aspect of studying at Falmouth.
Jamie said: “We never cease to be blown away by the enthusiasm and levels of achievement of Falmouth’s students and we were very pleased to see some great ideas about how Eight Wire could delve into new ideas. We think the link between the university and business helps ensure that the industry has the skills it needs and young people have the opportunities to build successful careers. Eight Wire is really pleased to work with Falmouth University’s Employer Forum to help provide that interface.” Read more on the Western Morning News website
